Craft Fair

I am participating in a local Holiday Craft Fair next month and I am really looking forward to it! I made a bunch of stuff that I think/hope will sell pretty well. Here are some pics...

Silhouette Vinyl

I am loving this new Silhouette Cameo that I got for Christmas! I bought this frame and scrapbook paper at a local scrapbooking store. Then, I just cut the vinyl and adhered it on top of the glass. So fun!

Silhouette Cameo

Since I received my Silhouette Cameo for Christmas I have been trying to find all sorts of things to do with it. I have had these cereal containers from Tupperware for years so decided to spruce them up a little. Also, I saw this idea for moving syrup into a squeeze bottle and labeling it too. I love it! And who would have thought changing the container would make such a difference in the mess? Very little drips of syrup if any!

Grips Bag

My niece recently received her grips for gymnastics. So proud of her! She asked me if I would make her a grip bag. I had never heard of one so started looking on Google. Apparently, they are pretty fancy looking! She wanted it like ones she had seen with leo material (swimsuit almost) and some snake skin suede too. I had no idea on what kind of closure to make either. Most are made with a click at the top and some are drawstring. She wanted the click closure. So, come to find out, they click like snap bracelets! I started looking for some tutorials and found that they can be done with metal tape measures, just cut to fit. Here's how it turned out...I think she's pretty happy with it too!

Ruffled Capris

My little girls have tiny little waists and can still wear some size 3s, in the waist only though. They are 4 so the length is too short. They had these great jeans that I just couldn't part with because they were in such good shape. So...a while back I added ruffles to jeans that were too short to lengthen them...but we were headed to OK for my lil' sis's wedding and I needed some capris pronto. I remembered I had these jeans so I went to work! I think they turned out darling! See what you think...

Silhouette Cameo Labels

One of my friends wanted to make some labels for the toy bins in her son's room. He can't read yet but we still wanted to include words so that he could learn them too. It took us about 2 days, the first day was finding all the graphics we wanted to use and the second day we actually were able to cut everything out. All done and they are super cute!! All done on my Silhouette Cameo. If you think you'd like one, check out the website.

Burp Cloths

One of my very close friends just had a new baby boy and I wanted to make her some burp cloths. I decided to try out my Silhouette Cameo and step them up a little than my previous ones. I found some really cute coordinating fabric and got to work. Doing it again, I would use a smaller, closer zig-zag stitch on the car but nevertheless, it's cute! And a change from the solid ones I am used to making. I love these as baby gifts. They are so personal and hand made.
